PhD in Biochemistry. Professor of Genetic and Molecular biology at the Department of Medicine in the University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco (UNPSJB).

Martín is an expert in genetic engineering. For years, his work has focused in the study of the regulation process of lipid biosynthesis and accumulation in oleaginous bacteria.

Currently, he leads the upstream processes of fermentation focusing on optimizing lipid accumulation through metabolic and genetic engineering.
